National Female Youth MP aspirant, Nakku Fiona, has dismissed as false reports circulating on social media claiming that she has stepped out of the race.
In a strongly worded message addressed to delegates, Nakku described the letter as “fake” and a tactic of fear designed to weaken the youth movement she represents.
“This is a lie. I am very much in this race, stronger than ever, and ready to stand with you till the very last vote,” she said.
Nakku called on delegates to remain focused and not be swayed by propaganda aimed at creating confusion among the electorate.
She urged them to treat the fake letter “with the contempt it deserves” and instead use it as fuel to consolidate unity and strength.
“The youth of Uganda are ready, and no fake letter, no rumor, and no scheme can stop us. On the 25th, your vote is your power. Use it to secure the future we have been fighting for,” Nakku emphasized.
Her statement comes as campaigns for the National Female Youth MP seat intensify ahead of the delegates’ vote. Analysts note that despite her relatively late entry into the race, Nakku has rapidly gained momentum, positioning herself as one of the strongest contenders.
