Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on Thursday received Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi at the National Palace in Addis Ababa, marking the start of a two-day official visit to Ethiopia.
The visit is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Ethiopia and China, with discussions covering economic cooperation, development partnerships, and regional and international issues of mutual interest.
