Kiconco Brenda, who is vying for the position of National Chairperson of the NRM Youth League Central Executive Committee (CEC) for the 2025–2030 term, has called upon young people across the country to take charge of the forthcoming presidential mobilization drive in support of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
In her message to the NRM youth fraternity, Brenda emphasized that the youth remain the engine of the party and must rise to the occasion as Uganda heads into another decisive electoral season.
“The time has come for us, the youth – the engine of our great Movement – to rise to the occasion once again. Our energy, unity, and strategic action will be critical in securing a resounding victory for Jajja Museveni and the continued progress of our country,” she said.
Brenda urged the youth to mobilize in villages, towns, and districts while boldly speaking about the achievements of the NRM and the vision it represents. She noted that every effort counts, stressing that no contribution is too small when the mission is great.
She pledged disciplined, fact-driven, and passionate leadership, positioning herself as a unifying figure for the next generation of NRM mobilizers.
Her campaign is centered on the slogan “Youth Voice,” underscoring her belief that the youth must lead from the front as the party prepares for the 2026 general elections.
If elected, Kiconco Brenda will spearhead youth mobilization efforts under the NRM Youth League, playing a critical role in shaping the party’s grassroots engagement and ensuring the youth agenda is firmly represented within the ruling party’s structures.
