The Embassy of Uganda in Qatar has announced the Second Uganda–Qatar Business Forum, slated for October 27, 2025, at Rotana City Center in Doha.
Held under the theme “Uganda and Qatar in Partnership for Shared Economic Development,” the high-level engagement will bring together government officials, business leaders, and investors from Uganda, Qatar, and the wider Gulf region to explore opportunities in trade, investment, and tourism.
Organized in partnership with KON W.L.L, the Forum will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and institutional presentations by major players including the Uganda Investment Authority, Uganda Free Zones Authority, Uganda Export Promotion Board, Private Sector Foundation Uganda, Qatar Chamber of Commerce, and Qatar Tourism.

Speaking ahead of the event, H.E. Dr. Stephen Chebrot, Uganda’s Ambassador to Qatar, said the Forum underscores Uganda’s growing commitment to advancing economic and commercial diplomacy with Qatar.
“Uganda is ready to welcome Qatari investors to explore opportunities in agriculture, tourism, minerals, energy, manufacturing, and ICT — sectors that are key to Uganda’s transformation agenda,” Dr. Chebrot noted.
The one-day event will also feature B2B networking sessions, sector-specific dialogues, and cultural showcases, all designed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and encourage greater private-sector participation between Uganda and Qatar.
