The meeting, held at the UK Ministry of Defence Headquarters Main Building in London, focused on expanding military cooperation, enhancing capacity building, and addressing shared regional and global security priorities.

Minister Kiryowa, who is on an official visit to the United Kingdom, noted the importance of continued collaboration between the two countries, particularly in areas that support professional military development and regional stability.

The discussions underscored the longstanding Uganda–UK defence partnership and the shared commitment by both governments to strengthening strategic security engagements.

As part of efforts to further enhance bilateral relations, Minister Kiryowa extended an invitation to Lord Coaker to visit Uganda in the near future.
