Uganda has officially taken over the chairmanship of the 5th Specialised Technical Committee (STC) on Agriculture, Rural Development, and Blue Economy from Egypt. This significant handover occurred during the High-Level Ministerial Session currently underway at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The transfer of chairmanship, presided over by Uganda’s Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry & Fisheries, Frank Tumwebaze, marks a pivotal moment for Uganda’s involvement and leadership within the African Union.
