Saudi Ambassador Presents Credentials, Pledges to Deepen Ties with Uganda

His Excellency Mohammed Bin Khalil Faloudah, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Uganda, formally presented copies of his letter of credentials to the Honorable John Mulimba, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda, in a ceremony held on Monday.

During the ceremony, Minister Mulimba extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Faloudah, emphasizing the longstanding and amicable relations between Uganda and Saudi Arabia. He highlighted Saudi Arabia’s substantial support for educational initiatives in Uganda, citing the example of the Islamic University of Uganda.

In response, Ambassador Faloudah expressed his dedication to strengthening the bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and Uganda. He revealed plans to facilitate a state visit by President Yoweri Museveni to Saudi Arabia, stressing the importance of high-level engagement in cementing diplomatic relations.

Minister Mulimba conveyed Uganda’s eagerness to deepen engagement with Saudi Arabia and encouraged Ambassador Faloudah to explore Uganda’s diverse landscapes and cultures during his tenure.
