Ruto Calls Emergency Meeting After Chopper Carrying CDF Crashes

A military helicopter carrying Kenya’s Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Francis Ogolla, among others, crashed on Thursday, leading to the death of five individuals.

The helicopter, which had nine people on board, met with the unfortunate accident under circumstances that are yet to be fully disclosed.

President William Ruto, responding swiftly to the crisis, has convened an emergency meeting to address the aftermath of the crash and to coordinate the government’s response.
