In preparation for this momentous responsibility, a significant dialogue organised by the Uganda Council on Foreign Relations (UCFR) is scheduled at Fairway Hotel, set to delve into Uganda’s pivotal role within the global context.

The event, titled the UCFR Dialogue, is slated to feature the esteemed keynote speaker Prof. Patrick L.O. Lumumba, a renowned public speaker recognized worldwide for his impactful oratory. Prof. Lumumba, the founder of the PLO Lumumba Foundation, boasts a rich legacy as a driving force behind initiatives such as The Association of the Citizens Against Corruption (ACAC) and the Movement for Dialogue and Non-Violence (MODAN). The dialogue will offer a platform for Prof. Lumumba and the esteemed panelists to delve into critical themes surrounding the NAM, Uganda’s historical contributions to fortifying multilateralism, and the strategic opportunities and challenges presented by Uganda’s impending chairmanship.
