In a dramatic show of force, armored personnel carriers, Mambas, tanks, anti-aircraft guns and other combat machines thundered through Kololo Independence Grounds as soldiers saluted the Commander-in-Chief.

UPDF’s famous mamba was also on display
The military procession showcased the UPDF’s growing capabilities and modernization drive before visiting African leaders and thousands of Ugandans.

Children climbed onto barriers for a better view while adults waved national flags as the armored convoy rumbled past the ceremonial grounds.

The display was interpreted as both a celebration of state power and a message of military readiness in an increasingly volatile region.

For many spectators, the hardware showcase brought back memories of liberation struggle anniversaries and national military parades that have long defined Uganda’s political history.
