Museveni Arrives in Tanzania for Talks with Suluhu

Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has arrived in the United Republic of Tanzania for a working visit at the invitation of President H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan.

The visit will see the two leaders engage in bilateral discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation and deepening the long-standing relations between the two East African neighbors. Key areas expected to feature in the talks include; Strengthening efforts to make the East Africa Federation work, trade, infrastructure development, regional security, and cross-border collaboration.

President Museveni emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between Uganda and Tanzania, noting the historical ties and shared regional interests that bind the two countries.

This working visit comes at a time when both nations are seeking to consolidate partnerships within the East African Community and boost mutual economic growth.
