In a bid to foster economic ties and attract foreign investment, Uganda’s Minister for East African Affairs and 1st Deputy Prime Minister, Rt Hon Rebecca Kadaga, met with the Ambassador of Turkey to Uganda at the Ministry Headquarters.
The meeting saw discussions revolving around potential areas for Turkish entrepreneurs to contribute to Uganda’s economic growth. Highlighting tourism as a key sector, both parties engaged in talks aimed at leveraging Turkish investments to bolster Uganda’s tourism industry.
