Former Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete arrived in Uganda on Sunday to participate in the prestigious Guild Leaders Summit at Makerere University.
The summit, which is on today, brings together both former and current Guild Presidents, speakers, and other student leaders from various universities and tertiary institutions across the country.
Organized by the Guild Presidents Leadership Academy, the event aims to foster leadership skills and encourage dialogue among student leaders. Kikwete, known for his advocacy on educational and leadership development during his presidency, is scheduled to deliver a keynote address focusing on the challenges and opportunities in student leadership today.
The Guild Leaders Summit serves as a platform for student leaders to share experiences, discuss policy issues, and explore effective leadership strategies.
