dfcu Bank has dismissed recent reports circulating online alleging irregularities within the institution, describing them as “baseless and misleading.”
In a statement issued on Friday, the bank assured its customers, stakeholders, and the public that the claims have no merit and should be disregarded.
“We assure our customers, stakeholders, and the public that these claims are without basis and should be treated with the contempt they deserve,” the statement read.
The bank emphasized its continued commitment to providing secure, reliable, and innovative financial services to support individuals, businesses, and communities across Uganda.
Management further urged the public to rely solely on official communication channels for accurate information about the bank, warning against misinformation spread by unverified sources.
dfcu Bank reiterated that it is fully regulated by the Bank of Uganda and that all customer deposits are protected by the Deposits Protection Fund of Uganda up to UGX 10 million.
The bank concluded its statement with a call for confidence from its clients, underlining its dedication to “going further, together” in building financial trust and stability.
