The Uganda Embassy in Havana has officially opened its participation at the 41st Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2025), taking place from 24–29 November at Expocuba. The annual fair, which brings together exhibitors from over 50 countries, provides a key platform for trade, investment, and international cooperation.

At FIHAV 2025, Uganda is showcasing its tourism potential alongside a diverse range of export products, including coffee, milk, groundnuts, beans, Uganda Waragi, crafts, and investment information materials. Visitors to Uganda’s pavilion are also being introduced to the country’s growing business opportunities across key sectors.

Embassy officials including Ambassador Elizabeth Musazi, are engaging with Cuban and international partners to explore collaborations in tourism, agriculture, manufacturing, and other priority industries. These discussions aim to expand Uganda’s export markets, attract foreign investment, and strengthen bilateral economic relations.

Despite global economic challenges, FIHAV remains a central hub for Cuba’s commercial outlook. Uganda’s active participation in the fair underscores its commitment to deepening trade ties, promoting investment, and positioning the Pearl of Africa as a reliable and competitive global partner.

The pavilion also offers attendees a glimpse into Uganda’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, reinforcing the country’s image as both an investment destination and a top tourism choice.
