In a tweet on Sunday, Ambassador Abbey Walusimbi, Ugandan Ambassador at Large/Foreign Service Grade 1 & Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs, expressed satisfaction with the successful launch of the #UgandaEuropeConvention. The collaborative initiative aims to leverage the potential of both Uganda and Europe, fostering economic growth by creating new market opportunities. Ambassador Walusimbi underscored the significance of unity in development, aligning with the vision set forth by President Museveni.

"Glad that the launch of #UgandaEuropeConvention was fruitful. This collaborative initiative will harness the potential of Uganda & Europe, by opening new markets. It's good that we are uniting to develop Uganda, as guided by President Museveni," Ambassador Walusimbi tweeted.

The #UgandaEuropeConvention represents a strategic effort to strengthen the economic ties between Uganda and European nations. The convention aims to provide a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and partnership between businesses, investors, and government representatives from both regions.

Ambassador Walusimbi's tweet emphasized the importance of this collaborative venture in unlocking new markets for Ugandan products and services, ultimately contributing to the country's economic development. The convention is expected to facilitate discussions on trade, investment, and other key sectors that will drive mutually beneficial growth.

The initiative aligns with President Museveni's vision for national development, emphasizing the need for unity and collaboration to propel Uganda forward. The President has consistently emphasized the importance of tapping into international partnerships to unlock the full potential of the country's resources and opportunities.

As the #UgandaEuropeConvention gains momentum, stakeholders are optimistic about the positive impact it will have on bilateral relations, fostering a climate conducive to economic cooperation and growth.
