West Using “Neo-Nazi” Ukraine Regime Against Russia, Says Putin Envoy at Uganda Defense College Lecture

Russia’s Ambassador to Uganda H.E Vladlen Semivolos (C) delivered a lecture at Uganda Defence College on Russia’s role in a multipolar world.

Russia’s Ambassador to Uganda, Vladlen Semivolos, delivered a comprehensive lecture to students at the Uganda National Defense College (NDC) in Jinja, focusing on Russia’s foreign policy in the modern world.

During his address, Ambassador Semivolos elaborated on Russia’s role in shaping a multipolar world, emphasizing the centrality of the United Nations in global governance.

He highlighted Russia’s perspective on the ongoing conflict with Ukraine, describing it as a result of Western attempts to maintain global dominance under what he termed the “rules-based order.”

According to the Ambassador, Western nations had used the Ukrainian government, which he referred to as a “neo-Nazi regime,” to wage a geopolitical struggle against Russia.

The lecture also touched on Russia’s commitment to strengthening its partnerships with Uganda and other African nations.

Ambassador Semivolos mentioned Uganda’s recent engagement with the BRICS bloc as a partner state from January 1, 2025, indicating deeper economic and diplomatic cooperation.

He also promised Russia’s readiness to collaborate with African countries in various sectors, including defense, trade, and infrastructure development.

The session held special significance as students from the National Defense College are set to visit Moscow in the coming days for a study tour. The visit is expected to enhance military and strategic cooperation between Uganda and Russia, further solidifying diplomatic ties between the two nations.
