Uganda is negotiating with China’s Sinohydro company to construct a power line that would allow exporting power to South Sudan, the media reported.
Within the initiative, a 138-kilometer high-voltage transmission line to South Sudan will be built, it is also planned to expand two existing substations and construct a new one, as per the media.
