Suluhu Declares Zero Tolerance for Peace Saboteurs

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – President Samia Suluhu Hassan officially took the oath of office as the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, marking the beginning of her second term in leadership.

In her inaugural address, President Samia expressed deep gratitude to Almighty God and the people of Tanzania for the trust and confidence placed in her and the ruling party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM). She described the day as a significant milestone for herself, the citizens, and the nation as a whole.

“Thanks be to Almighty God, Most Gracious and Most Merciful, for this great and important day for me, for Tanzanians, and for our Nation,” she said.

“I thank all Tanzanians for the great trust you have placed in me and in CCM for granting us the mandate to continue serving our Nation.”

President Samia emphasized that the election period had ended and called upon all citizens to unite and focus on nation-building.

After securing 98% in a decisive re-election, President Samia Suluhu Hassan used her inauguration speech to send a stern warning, her government will not tolerate anyone who tampers with the nation’s peace.

“The cornerstone of our nation’s success is peace,” she affirmed.

“We shall continue to prioritize the preservation of this vital pillar, and we will show no leniency toward anyone who attempts to undermine it, for such a person is not one of us, and that is not the Tanzanian way.”

President Samia’s re-election reaffirms her leadership as Tanzania continues to pursue economic growth, regional cooperation, and social transformation under her administration.
