In a landmark event today, Fátima Fernandes, the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Uganda, presented her Letters of Credence to His Excellency Yoweri Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda.

The ceremony, held at State House Entebbe, marked the official commencement of Ambassador Fernandes’ diplomatic mission in Uganda and aimed at fortifying the diplomatic ties between the two nations for the mutual benefit of the people of Venezuela and Uganda.

During the credential presentation, Ambassador Fernandes conveyed warm regards from the Venezuelan government and expressed her commitment to enhancing the diplomatic relationship between the two countries. President Museveni welcomed Ambassador Fernandes and conveyed his appreciation for Venezuela’s decision to establish its first-ever diplomatic mission in Uganda.
