Uganda’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, General Jeje Odongo, held a fruitful meeting on Monday morning with Her Excellency Anne Kristin Hermansen, Ambassador of Norway to Uganda, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the meeting, Minister Odongo expressed his intention to visit Oslo for discussions with the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Highlighting the robust and enduring partnership between Norway and Uganda, Minister Odongo emphasized cooperation in critical sectors such as oil and gas, refugee affairs, and other mutual interests.
Ambassador Hermansen commended Uganda’s leadership as the current chair of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Group of 77, recognizing the country’s significant contributions in these roles. She proposed a meeting between Norfund and Ugandan officials during Minister Odongo’s visit to Norway to further bolster collaboration across various sectors.
Addressing regional peace and security, Minister Odongo expressed appreciation for Norway’s insights and support.
