Ethiopia’s Ministry of Education has made significant strides in recent years in improving access to quality education. The delegation from Uganda seeks to gain insights into Ethiopia’s successful initiatives and strategies, particularly in areas such as curriculum development, teacher training, and technology integration in education.

Her Excellency Etsegenet Yimenu Bezabih emphasized the importance of collaboration among African nations, saying they two parties will share standard of excellence and achievements in the two countries.

The Education Policy Review Commission was launched by the First Lady and Hon. Minister of Education and Sports in May 2021.

It’s main function is to draft a new macro policy framework for education and sports for Uganda. This will replace the current Government White Paper on Education of 1992.
