The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF), Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, on Tuesday hosted a joint meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, H.E. Signe Winding Albjerg, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Frederieke Quispel, at the Special Forces Command Headquarters in Entebbe.
Gen Kainerugaba described the engagement as a rare and significant occasion, underscoring the strength and value of collaborative diplomacy.
He praised the aligned foreign policy positions of Denmark and the Netherlands, noting that both countries promote respectful, cooperative, and locally-led partnerships with Uganda.
“This meeting is a powerful symbol of solidarity,” Gen Kainerugaba said, emphasizing that the most enduring progress is achieved through shared responsibility.
The two envoys welcomed the interaction and commended the strong and longstanding bilateral relations with Uganda. They reaffirmed their countries’ commitment to deepening partnerships, enhancing cooperation, and supporting initiatives that strengthen peace, security, and development.
