Uganda has condemned the attack on its embassy in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with CDF Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba promising decisive action against the perpetrators.
“Attacking our Embassy in Kinshasa is a serious crime. All those who were behind it will be sought out and brought to justice. We shall hunt for them wherever they are!” Gen. Muhoozi declared in a message posted on X (formerly Twitter).
On Tuesday, demonstrators in the Congolese capital turned on foreign missions, attacking and ransacking the embassies of Uganda, Rwanda, France and Kenya.

Uganda and the DRC have been collaborating on military operations against armed groups, including the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).
Tuesday’s protests came on the heels of military clashes between the DR Congo and army and M23 rebels in the country’s restive eastern region, that left the city of Goma captured by the rebels.
