CDF Gen. Muhoozi Hosts UAE Prince to Bolster Military Cooperation

This afternoon, Uganda’s Chief of Defense Forces (CDF), Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who also serves as the Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, held a meeting with a delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The meeting discussed the deepening of military cooperation between the two nations, according to a communication from his office. Strategic and trade relationships between the two nations were also discussed.

The UAE delegation was led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, a prominent member of Dubai’s ruling family.

Their discussions are a testament to the significant and growing partnership between Uganda and the UAE, highlighting the strong bonds and mutual interests that span economic and security dimensions.

Also in attendance was the Commander of the Uganda People’s Defence Air Force, Lt Gen Charles Okidi, reflecting the meeting’s emphasis on both diplomatic and military cooperation.
