Ambassador Vladlen Semivolos, the Russian Ambassador to Uganda, hosted Vice President H.E. Jessica Alupo and her delegation at the Russian Embassy in Kampala before their departure for an official visit to Russia.
The delegation, which includes Minister of Security Jim Muhwezi and Minister of State for Ethics and Integrity Rose Akello, will be in Russia from June 16 to 21, 2025.
This visit highlights Uganda’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Russia, focusing on key areas such as security cooperation, ethical governance, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
The delegation is expected to engage in discussions aimed at enhancing ties between the two nations and addressing shared interests in regional security and governance.
