H.E. Jessica Alupo, Vice President of Uganda, arrived last night at OR Tambo International Airport.
She is in South Africa to attend the inauguration of H.E. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, the newly elected President of the Republic of South Africa, which is scheduled to take place today.
Vice President Alupo is representing Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni at the event. Her presence highlights the strong diplomatic ties between Uganda and South Africa and signifies Uganda’s commitment to supporting the democratic processes in the region.
The inauguration marks a significant event as South Africa continues its journey of political stability and growth under the leadership of President-Elect Ramaphosa.
