Aster DM Healthcare, one of the largest integrated healthcare providers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uganda’s Ministry of Health to donate a fully equipped mobile medical clinic.
Facilitated by the Consulate General of Uganda in Dubai, the MoU formalizes a partnership aimed at expanding access to primary healthcare in Uganda’s underserved communities.
The mobile clinic, currently under construction in India, is expected to arrive in Uganda within the next three months and will be deployed to deliver diagnostic and treatment services in remote and rural areas.
The official signing ceremony is set to take place in Kampala and will be attended by senior officials from the Ugandan government, Aster DM Healthcare, and other key stakeholders.
The initiative marks the beginning of broader cooperation, including plans to deploy UAE-based medical professionals for joint outreach programs, training, and knowledge exchange to strengthen Uganda’s health sector.
This collaboration highlights Uganda’s growing engagement with global health partners to enhance its healthcare infrastructure and service delivery.
